TOPIC: NOTHING SURPRISES YOUR GOD! HOLD ON AND HOLD OUT!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2 CORINTHIANS 4:10-18

When you pursue God’s dream for your life in light of eternity, you don’t get discouraged as easily as when you face troubles. You don’t give up what God has called you to do because you know that what is coming is the best gift you’ve ever been given. ALWAYS SEE THAT THE BEST IS YET AHEAD! How to win in life: – 

1. Work hard, 

2. Complain less. 

3. Listen more. 

4. Try, learn, and grow. 

5. Don’t let people tell you it can’t be done. 

6. Make no excuses (Germany Kent). 

The Living Bible Translation says in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our inner strength in the Lord is growing every day. These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won’t last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God’s richest blessing upon us forever and ever! So we do not look at what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever” (TLB). 

I don’t know what trouble you’re going through right now, but here are three truths you can lean on: 

(1) It won’t last. If your dream is from God, no struggle will keep you from it forever. Always declare: THIS TOO SHALL PASS! 

(2) God will still use troubles for good in your life. Troubles are character builders if you’ll surrender them to Him. 

(3) You’ll be rewarded forever in eternity for your suffering for Christ IF YOU HOLD ON. NOTHING you’re facing now, surprises God. The same God who gave you the dream is walking beside you anytime you are struggling! Never forget that the FOURTH MAN shows up always in the fire! Hang on to God’s promise in Philippians 1:6: ”I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the day of Christ Jesus” (GNT). Hold on and hold out! Refuse to quit! Pray now!

Lord God, silence every enemy that is growling like a dog against

Your destiny for my life with Your devouring fire in Jesus name.
