SERVE; DON'T BE PARTICULAR ABOUT POSITION

MK. 10:35-40

Various secular, political and spiritual spaces are primarily created to serve God and humanity. On the contrary, different people seek different appointments just to satisfy their personal ego and enrich themselves in ungodly and illegal ways. Many go to the extent of hurting and killing others to achieve their aim. The truth is, God knows the intention of individuals for seeking appointment either within or outside of the Church. Paul said whoever desires to be a Bishop desires a good work (1 Tim. 3:1). We must all come to the conviction that any appointment, promotion and position given to us, either by election or selection, is meant for us to serve and we will be appraised for the time and resources associated with the position. God is counting on us to serve Him through each position given to us.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: God is counting on you to serve Him through every position and appointment given to you.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, help me to faithfully serve You through any position and appointment given to me in Jesus' name.
