SEEK NOT YOUR OWN PROFIT
1 COR. 10:31-33
There are several parts in the body. Each of these members has a specific function it plays to ensure the body operates optimally. These members do not seek their personal profit but the profit of the entire body. The same way, each believer is a member of the body of Christ and each of us has the responsibility to profit the body of Christ. We are not part of the body of Christ to seek our personal profit. We must defend the body and seek its common good. Whatever happens to the body, positive or negative, directly concerns us. The wellbeing of other members of the body of Christ must concern us. We must care for both the physical and spiritual needs of one another as instructed by the Lord.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: Whatever happens to other members of the body of Christ should directly concern you.
PRAYER POINT: Help me Lord to care for others just as I care for myself in Jesus' name.
