EXPOSITION

The life of every animal is in its blood (Gen 4:10; Deut. 12:23; Lev. 17:11). Before the Lord Jesus used His pious blood to atone for man's sin, countless animals had lost their lives in special tabernacle/temple sacrifices. Imagine the rigours involved for both the priests, Levites and worshippers. Yet, despite all these, *...the blood of bulls and goats* couldn't *take away sins* (Heb. 10-3.4), hence the futility of animal sacrifices. This necessitated the divine offering of Jesus Christ as sacrifice for sin, accomplished on the Cross, offering His body, once and for all Hallelujah! We are free

Dear reader, are you sincerely free from the guilt of sin and death? Have you gone to Jesus for cleansing? Have you been washed in the blood of Jesus meant for all-redemption? If you haven't, this is your moment. Do not be overwhelmed by sin, allow Jesus to pull you out of that wretchedness. Many people are seriously being haunted by their past wickedness and recklessness, and are fed up. The solution is JESUS. His blood has the power to cleanse you from all guilt and stain. Why not *...come boldly to the throne of grace, and find grace to help in time of need* (Heb. 4:16). Like the father of the lost son waited hopefully for the return of his son, the Lord is waiting for you (Matt 11 28). Just believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Jn. 3:16), confess your sins, ask for forgiveness, and repent (turn away, flee) from them all. Read your Bible and pray everyday. Join and be regularly fellowshipping with a Bible-believing church. Then, share your freedom experience/testimony.

SUGGESTED HYMN FOR TODAY:

CAC GHB 206

1. There is life for a look at the

    Crucified One

There is life at this moment for thee

Then, look, sinner, look unto Him and be saved

Unto Him who was nailed to the tree.

Chorus:

    Look! Look! Look and live!

There is life for a look at the

    Crucified One

There is life at this moment for thee.

2. Oh, why was He there as the

Bearer of sin on Jesus thy guilt was not laid?

Oh, why from His side flowed the sin-cleansing blood

If His dying thy debt has not paid?

3. It is not thy tears of repentance or prayers

But the Blood that atones for the soul

On Him, then, who shed it thou mayest at once

    Thy weight of iniquities roll.

4. Then doubt not thy welcome since God' has declared

There remaineth no more to be done

That once in the end of the world

    He appeared

And completed the work He begun.

5. Then take with rejoicing from Jesus at once

    The life everlasting He gives

And know with assurance thou never' canst die

    Since Jesus, thy righteousness lives.

Amen.

2. Heavenly Father, I claim all that Your blood has in store for me.

3. Lord Jesus, let Your blood that speaks better things than that of Abel speak for those yet to come to the Way, bringing them to Your Kingdom.
