MATT. 6:11; MK. 6:37, 5:41-43

From the beginning, God has always being there to care for all the physical and spiritual needs of His people. God made provision for man's physical food before he was made. Physical food is meant to sustain man's life from birth till he breathes his last breath on earth. When a man refuses or stops to eat, he will start losing strength, he will grow lean, and he will die afterwards. Good and hygienic food also makes a man healthy. The herbs, leaves, and fruits are provided to help man live a very healthy life and thereby live long. God has not left us to starve to death. He daily provides for our daily needs. One of the popular lines in the Lord's prayer is "Give us this day our daily bread." Just as God made provision for Adam in the Garden of Eden, He also made provision for Elijah when there was famine (1 Kgs. 17:1-16). God also provided manna for the Israelites on their way to the Promised Land. That same God is still alive and can meet our daily needs.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: God still cares for the physical needs of His people.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, I daily depend on You for my daily supply, may I not lack anything good physically and spiritually in Jesus' name.
