HEB. 7:1-5

Jesus is likened to Melchizedek - a Priest of the Most High God. His priesthood is superior to the Jewish priesthood. Jesus was appointed by God to be Priest for His people including the Gentiles. People can only receive pardon for their sins and be reconciled to God through Him. He is the High Priest for believers of all generations.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: Jesus is the High Priest of God forever after the order of Melchizedek.

PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus, Your sacrifice for me will never be in vain
