Our Daily Manna Devotional 18th October 2023 TOPIC: ONE DAY YOUR TALENTS WILL BECOME THE NEED OF THE HOUR

 

BASIC SCRIPTURE: JOHN 6:1-13

Whale oil – that was the thing everyone wanted in the middle of the 19th century. It was used as fuel for lamps across the world and just a few people were interested in smelly and dirty crude oil, except James Townsend.

He had read a report that so- called ‘ROCK OIL’ could be used for illumination and more be- sides, and hired former railroad conductor, Edwin Drake, to find some.

Drake struggled to find a way to collect the oil that some- times bubbled to the surface in Pennsylvania, USA. Eventually, after spending a lot of money, he created the world’s first oil drill – allowing cheap access to the

black gold that would power the world for the next 150 years and make countless fortunes. Sadly, again, he didn’t patent it.

May you not be found wanting when your ideas, talents or gifts will be needed and may you eat the FRUIT OF YOUR LABOUR! The MISTAKES that will swallow your LABOUR shall pass over your address! Note that the LORD has been speaking to us about NOT LOSING YOUR HARVEST in this edition!

It’s an edition I call, “POSSESSING YOUR HARVEST!” May the wisdom of Jehovah ESTABLISH whatever your hands find to do! Today’s Word shows that even a little child can become prominent. Note the mention of a little lad in today’s passage. The era of being tied to the back seat has gone. Now, your God is taking you TO THE FRONT SEAT – the place of prominence and author- ity. He is taking you to a place where you shall be the centre of attraction.

I prophesy that you will break records as one person who has received multiple award benefits and recognition. I have a warning for you today. Just Imagine How That Little Lad Became The Center Of Attraction!

You and your children (family) are next! Remember Edwin Drake and remember the little lad! Pray seriously now!! (Give out ODM COPIES as led).

Lord, like that little lad, make my life, family and ministry, the CENTER OF ATTRACTION as 2023 ends and beyond!

Lord, let me not make mistakes that will swallow my labour.

(Pray it seriously till you have peace to stop).

I shall not labour in vain! My harvest must appear in Jesus

name! 

Pray about today and cancel untimely death seriously!
