NEW GENERATION GRACE MINISTRIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL DECEMBER 11th, 2023 TITLE:BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE, HE SATISFIES THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM.

(Psalm 145 1-21)
I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.2 Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.3
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. 4  One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.
5 I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
And on Your wondrous works.6
Men shall speak of the might of
Your awesome acts, And I will declare Your greatness. 7
They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, And shall sing of Your righteousness.
8 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. 9  The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.
10  All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, And Your saints shall bless You.11  They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, And talk of Your power, 12  To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of His kingdom. 13  Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. 14  The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down.
15  The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. 16  You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing. 17  The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works. 18
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. 19  He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. 20  The Lord preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will
destroy. 21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord,
And all flesh shall bless His holy name Forever and ever.

How do we tell the next generation of God's power? We begin by making church attendance and biblical education central in the experience of our own children. We can also tell our stories of believing in Jesus. When did faith in Jesus become personal and vivid for you? You can use family meals and social events to share about Jesus. Talk about your experiences. Show your families and others in your circle of influence how God helps you through each day.

Sometimes our burdens seem more than we can bear, and we wonder how we can go on. David stood at this bleak intersection of life's road and meditated on the Lord, the great burden bearer. God is able to lift us up because (1) His greatness is beyond our comprehension (145:3); (2) He does mighty acts across many generations. (4) He is full of splendor and majesty.

He does wonderful and awesome deeds(5), He is righteous, He is kind. Merciful. patient, loving, and compassionate. (145:8,9). He rules over an everlasting kingdom. He meets all our daily needs. He is gracious and righteous in all His dealings. He remains near to those who call on Him. He hears our cries and rescues us (19-20). If you are bending under a burden and feel that you are about to fall , turn to God for help. He is ready to lift you up and bear your burden. AMEN!!

Prayers: Oh God , my maker and my defender, I put my trust in you. Please lord, mold me into your image and hold me closer to you. Help me to become a mature Christian and improve on my walk with you in Jesus name.
