Our Daily Manna Devotional 10 December 2023 TOPIC: IF IT BE OF GOD, IT CANNOT BE OVERTURNED!

BASIC SCRIPTURE: ACTS 5: 27 – 39.

Gamaliel’s words touch me every time I read them. Verse 38 of today’s scripture says, “If this counsel or this work be of men, IT WILL COME TO NOUGHT.” This is a point that you must never forget as the year ends. When men do things for you, IT WILL ONE DAY COME TO AN END.

When men extend their hands to help you, THEY WILL ONE DAY WITHDRAW IT. When men offer to lift you out of the pit of pain and depression, they can one day decide that you should go back to that pit. But, hear his words in Verse 39: “BUT IF IT BE OF GOD, YE CANNOT OVERTHROW IT!”

END OF STORY!!! When God offers His help, IT CANNOT BE OVERTHROWN. This is why what men do should not move you – good or bad! The actions of men have an expiry date! The actions of the wicked will not last forever!

IT WILL COME TO NOUGHT SOMEDAY! When God brings you out of the pit, YOU WILL STAY OUT OF THAT PIT FOREVER. When God fights for you, YOU CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED BY THAT ENEMY AGAIN FOREVER! The Spirit of God is saying to a user of today’s devotional, “Seek for the help of God ONLY.

No opposition can succeed against you when your help is of God. When God moves men to help you, NO ONE CAN MOVE THOSE MEN TO WORK AGAINST YOU.” (Finish your Bible this year)! See pages 136 for the plan!
