TOPIC: WHY HE DID NOT SHOW ABRAHAM THE FUTURE LAND!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: GENESIS 11: 27-32; 12: 1 – 6

Abraham (Formerly ABRAM) knew where He was coming from (Ur of the Chaldees) – where he lived with his father! He knew all the streets, avenues, culture, the people/tribes, what they worshiped, etc. No faith was required to fulfill God’s calling there. But one day, the LORD GOD OF HEAVEN called Abram and said in Gen 12: 1 – “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, ‘Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee.” Note: “I WILLL SHOW THEE.” So God did not show Abraham initially and GOD DOES NOT SHOW YOU EVERYTHING IN YOUR CHRISTIAN RACE! Always remember this! He knows everything, but He will NOT SHOW YOU EVERYTHING! But note this: The city, “Ur” of the Chaldees, appears to have been a city of some great importance at that time! It probably had its Hebrew name “Ur rwa,” which signifies fire, from the worship practiced there. Bible scholars all agree that the ancient inhabitants of this region were ignicolists or worshippers of fire. Yes! WORSHIPPERS OF FIRE! So God called Abram out of their midst and DID NOT SHOW HIM WHERE HE WAS GOING! In this 2nd half of 2023, refuse to QUIT or give up when you don’t understand certain circumstances around your journey! He wanted ABRAM to walk by faith and just TRUST AND OBEY! Another reason God did not show Abram the land HE WAS BEING SENT TO, WAS BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO MEET FEARFUL GIANTS IN CANAAN. CANAAN WAS A LAND FULL OF GIANTS! So, FEAR could creep in if God had told him everything. Note this again – GOD WILL NEVER SHOW YOU EVERYTHING CONCERNING YOUR FUTURE!If He had shown me everything about the future of this ODM vision, I may probably not have started! I did not know I would become like a “FULL TIME BUSINESSMAN” combined with FULL TIME PROPHETIC/PASTORAL WORK in production of goods/services – (books) starting from raw materials (writing) and purchase of bonds of paper costing millions of cash, distribution worldwide across various cargo and custom posts, accounting and sales, etc. He did not show me that I would need a place for high storage of finished products. He did not show me my sleeping hours would be cut short! Yes! He did not show me that we would be fighting DEADLY PIRATES in court, social media, etc. Ah! Always follow the LORD in simple, daily steps of FAITH EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING! You will NEVER END IN SHAME! Pray seriously now!

Thank God for today’s word and pray as led now.

Thank you Lord that You do not show us the WHOLE PICTURE

OF THE FUTURE! 

I repent from past murmurings against You!

DEPRESSION MUST DIE!

I scatter every plan to HURRY AHEAD OF THE LORD now!

Pray about today as led now! 

Pray in Tongues seriously 7 times today!
