LIVING FOR JESUS

KEY VERSE: "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's." Romans 14:8

TEXT: ROMANS 14:7-9

The wordings of a beautiful hymn in gospel's hymns and song give us clear understanding of how to live for Jesus.

"While passing thro' this world of sin, 

And others your life shall view, 

Be clean and pure without, within,

Let others see Jesus in you.

Your life’s a book before their eyes,

They're reading it thro' and thro',

Say, does it point them to the skies,

Do others see Jesus in you?

Then live for Christ both day and night.

Be faithful, be brave and true,

And lead the lost to life and light

Let others see Jesus in you.

This is the summary of things you must do daily to show others that you are living for Christ. Be humble, loving, kind, holy, patient and obedient to God's word. There are great blessings awaiting you as you strive to live for Christ.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, please help me to live a life that pleases You and that have eternal reward.
