SINCERE MILK THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 2023 :LET JESUS INCREASE THROUGH YOU

 

KEY VERSE: "He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30

TEXT: JOHN 3:30-33

John the Baptist was the prophet chosen by God to prepare the way for the Saviour. He was born six months before Jesus was born in Bethlehem. At the appointed time, he started the work that God has called him to do. He did not at any time forget the fact that he was "... the voice of one crying in the wilderness, saying Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight." (Matthew 3:3) He was a faithful and humble servant of God. Although John the Baptist came before Jesus to prepare the way for Him, he did not equate himself with Jesus. 

He recognized Jesus as the One sent by God to die for the sin of the whole world. John was satisfied with what God sent Him to do in this world and was never competing with Jesus.

As a Christian, you must allow Jesus Christ to be magnified in all that you do. A life that does not magnify Jesus is a wasted life. Humility will help you to live a life that attracts more grace and blessings of God. Use your talents and abilities to magnify Jesus Christ and let Him be seen and glorified in your words, action and all that you do.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, please help me to live a life that glorifies You.
