Our Daily Manna Devotional 21 October 2023 BEN JOHNSON: THE PROCESS TO YOUR TESTIMONY IS IMPORTANT!

BASIC SCRIPTURES: JOHN 2: 1-11; PSALM 27:14

Be reminded again of the Canadian track star, Ben Johnson, who won the gold medal in 100m at the Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea on September 24th, 1988.

He not only established a new world record but also defeated his American rival, Carl Lewis. Johnson’s victory seemed like the pinnacle of his athletic career, bringing him fame, lucrative endorsements, and worldwide recognition. However, soon after his remarkable win, it was revealed that he had tested positive for the banned substance Stanozolol, an anabolic steroid.

The shocking revelation shook the world of athletics, leading to Johnson’s disqualification, his gold medal being stripped and all endorsement deals called off. Wow! Just like a joke, he lost it all. Ah! You must understand that life is not all about winning, but the credibility and integrity of the process, is important!

IF THE PROCESS IS COLOURED WITH FRAUD OR LIES, it will end in shame! I mean, what shall it profit you to gain so much credit in the morning, only to be discredited by evening? No matter how this year has been, refuse to rush ahead of God! Your glory day will come!

You do not have to push it. God’s time is the best AND GOD’S TIME MUST COME! The glory that God gives will last a lifetime, but the stolen one will bring a lifetime of shame. PATIENCE AND HOLDING ON are the keys!

Those who walk with God in honesty and patience always get to their destinations. If you work hard enough, pray enough, and wait on God enough, your glory days will come! Even the devil cannot hold a glory that has your name in it.

Refuse to look at others because the DELAYED WINE IS ALWAYS THE BEST WINE (Read John 2: 10 again)! Look up! Press on and hold on! (Give out ODM COPIES as led).

Father, help me to trust in Your timing for my life, business, career and ministry in Jesus name.

I refuse to hurry ahead of the LORD! Lord, perfect all that concerns me (Pray it seriously. Pray it many times today).

I shall not be stranded in life in the mighty name of Jesus.

Pray about today seriously. Lord, use my life to make a Name for yourself (Pray it very well seven times today).
