TOPIC: THE SPIRIT OF FAITH GROWS BY SPEAKING THE WORD OF GOD (1)
Proverbs 18:21; Mark 11:23-24
You can’t grow faith without words. The glorified “dignity” that the devil has put on people to keep quiet or demonstrate a certain “social grace” is ignorance. Faith grows with words. Sometimes I tell myself, “My faith is working, I have mountain-moving faith”. I stir up the spirit of faith within me by that, and it works because I have the spirit of faith. I have decided not to live by this earthly system but by the heavenly system, and you must make up your mind on which system you will live by.
Before you blame a witch you think is responsible for your mishaps, first of all, blame the one in your mouth. It is easy to transfer every blame to the devil. If the devil can talk, he will tell some Christians, “I’ve not got on your case yet; you are the one causing trouble for yourself.” Every time there is a break in the operations of the spirit of faith, there is a break in the activity of God.
When we stop working the spirit of faith, we break the activities of God off our lives. The same God of Elijah and David is our God, but do we have the same acts David experienced in his days in ours? This is largely so because men are not walking in the same spirit of faith today. The same spirit of faith that moved David to speak to Goliath and he was backed up by God, is in you today.
PRAYER: I declare in the name of Jesus, “I have a working and thriving faith. I am not living by this earthly system. I am living by the heavenly system.” Amen!
